Yoga Workshop for Beginners

Ignite your yoga journey with this beginner-friendly workshop designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of yoga.
We'll begin with a gentle warm-up, focusing on breathwork and discussing the benefits of yoga. This will be followed by a detailed lesson on common yoga poses, their names, and proper alignment. Throughout the class, we'll offer hands-on adjustments and modifications to ensure everyone feels comfortable and supported.
We'll delve into Sun Salutation A, breaking down each pose and practicing them individually with hands-on assistance if desired. We'll also introduce yoga blocks to enhance your practice.
To integrate these poses, we'll flow through a mini sequence, demonstrating various postures. We'll conclude with a relaxing cool-down and savasana to promote relaxation and integration.
What to bring:
* Yoga mat (optional: we have plenty at Jolt that you can use)
* Comfortable clothing
* Water bottle
About the Instructor:
Coach Tanya is a 500 hour yoga instructor, level 2 Reiki, and certified personal trainer. Her deep education in both yoga and fitness creates a practice that builds physical, mental and emotional health. Her multidisciplinary approach creates a unique yoga practice that spans both wellness and fitness.

* This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with some yoga experience looking for hands on approach and to dive deeper into the details of their practice
* Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in
