At Jolt, we deliver a full-spectrum athlete development program designed to build youth ages 14-16 into resilient, lightning-fast, and powerhouse athletes ready to unleash their potential in their sport pursuits. Our structured progressive program unfolds across strategic phases, by rebuilding resiliency (injury prevention), strength development (fundamental movement skills), and explosive power gains (athletic development).

This program is a first introduction for youth into sport specific training on a progressive resistance training program. No matter what the sport, the Athlete Development Camp will set them up with the tools to be successful in sport specific training and moving their body as a confident and strong athlete.

We understand that peak performance doesn't come from simply breaking a sweat; it comes from intelligent, tailored programming and guidance from knowledgeable trainers who prioritize each athlete's goals over ego-driven training.

ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT CAMP HIGHLIGHTS

Fundamental Movement Mastery:

  • Strength starts with mastering the basics. We'll teach you the essential movement patterns – squatting, hinging, pushing, pulling, and rotating – with perfect form. These fundamental movements are the building blocks for all athletic endeavors, providing the strength and stability needed for any sport.

Power & Athleticism Development:

  • Take your performance to the next level. We'll develop your explosive power, agility, and speed through sport-orientated drills and plyometric exercises. Learn how to generate force efficiently, change direction quickly, and react with precision. This training will translate directly to improved performance on the field or court.

Athlete Development Camp runs in 3 phases:

1) Rebuild & Reprogram

The first phase of the program is strategically built to kick off with a focus on prehabilitation. These initial weeks of low-intensity work are instrumental in establishing a robust groundwork for a summer dedicated to substantial athletic enhancements. Prioritizing injury prehabilitation and structural integrity sets the stage for the subsequent phases where sport-specific strength and power will be the cornerstone of our training approach.

2) Strength

During our strength phase, our primary objective is to cultivate strength and muscular robustness essential for athleticism. We lay the groundwork by building fundamental movements that foster the development of resilient athletes. As these foundational pillars of strength are solidified, we pivot towards refining athletic force transfer, channeling our strength acquisition into sport-specific power and agility.

3) Power

This pivotal phase is where we focus power house athletes in igniting their strength with speed and power. Leveraging the solid foundation of strength and resilience we've cultivated, we shift our focus towards enhancing speed for explosive first-step quickness and power for athletes who control the game with unrivalled dominance.
